Alice Marie Fanning, 85, passed away Friday, January 17 ^th at her home in Pink, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2020 at Goodlett Cemetery. Rev. Monte Lumpkin will officiate. Visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, January, 23 ^rd , at Smith Funeral Home.

Alice Marie Bradford was born February 25, 1934, to Lloyd and Dora (Walker) Bradford, in Hillsboro, Texas. She was married to G.D. Fanning. He preceded her in death on November 1, 1982.

She was a homemaker, and had worked as a migrant worker, picking fruit; at a cotton gin; and as a nurse's aide in several nursing homes in the Quanah area.

Survivors include her son, Charles Fanning of Childress; 2 daughters, Maggie Smith of Childress, and Murllon Puentez of Clinton, Oklahoma; and 1 sister, Mary McMinn.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons, A. Lawrence and Billy Lawrence.
