Antoine Deshawn
Williams
Apr 18, 1972 — Mar 23, 2026
Amarillo
Antoine Deshawn Williams was born April 18, 1972, in Quanah, Texas, to Herron "Cookie" Jones and A.D. Williams. He was the youngest of four siblings and was raised and educated in Quanah.
Antoine was known for his quiet nature, quick wit, and creative spirit. He excelled in football during his school years and carried that same strength and determination into his work in the oilfield. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his calm presence, and the way he could make people laugh when they least expected it.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, "Cookie" Herron Jackson; his father, A.D. Williams; his grandmother, Ruby Williams; his siblings, Daryl Jones, Marsha Williams, and Angela Williams; his two beautiful daughters, Shalane Dotson of Vernon and Tru Williams of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and the love of his life, Jennifer Williams of Amarillo. He is also survived by ten uncles, eight aunts, seven nephews, five nieces, and a host of cousins—too many to count.
Antoine was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Grace Jones and Lonnie Williams; his aunt, Jody McBride; his uncle, Levi Howard Jones; his aunt, Betty Calloway; and his uncle, Charly.
Antoine passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2026, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Quanah.
