Augustine Lozano, Jr., 84, of Vernon, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 11:15 a.m. in Wichita Falls. A funeral service is planned for 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 at Womack Manard Funeral Home Chapel in Crowell. Interment will follow at Crowell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time.

Augustine was born to Augustine and Anita (Perez) Lozano, Sr., October 5, 1935, in Gonzales, Texas. He never married and was a resident of Foard and Wilbarger County most of his life. He worked as a janitor at Hillcrest Pharmacy and Vernon Care Center for 35 years.

Survivors include his siblings: Richard Lozano of Vernon, Canuto Lozano of San Antonio, Hortencia Hall of Wichita Falls, Anita Hinkle of Crowell, Julia Torres of Crowell, Olga Herrera of Abilene, Richard Ramos of Goree, Eva Urquizo of Margaret, and Alicia Alvarado of San Antonio; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Louis Lozano.
