Bette Barber, 92, of Quanah, passed away Monday morning, August 23 ^rd , 2021 in Vernon. A graveside inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 27 ^th at Quanah Memorial Park. Rev. Wayne Hollinshead will officiate.

Bette Jo Pickle was born August 12, 1929 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Clark J. and Bertha Taylor Pickle. She married Billy Wayne Barber on February 26, 1956. She made a career as a Legal Secretary and worked for many years in Wichita Falls before moving to Quanah. Bette was predeceased by her husband, Bill, in 1993; and one sister, Virginia Lowery, in 1986. Survivors include her special friends:  Paula Wilson, Dale Eaton, Ronnie Ingram, and Michael Woods.
