Betty Juanita Hoover, 83, of Nocona, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, August 14 ^th , 2019 at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Hollinshead officiating. Interment will be at Quanah Memorial Park under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Betty was born January 8, 1936 to Luther and Ethel (Horn) Wade.

She owned and operated several restaurants, worked in home health, and operated a deli/bakery. She was member of the Methodist church and loved to sing at weddings.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Lafonda Ethier of Nocona; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild on the way; 2 brothers, Charles Wade of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Johnny Wade of Quanah.

She was preceded in death by one son, Van Hendley.
