Betty Jane Mobley passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in Quanah. She was 70.

Per her wishes, there will not be a funeral service.

Betty was born November 9, 1948 in Tolbert, Texas, to Buford and Betty (Quisenberry) Morris. She married Johnny Lee Mobley on November 21, 1963 in Quanah. She was a Baptist; and lived in Quanah most of her life, where she worked as a cook in several of the local restaurants.

She is survived by a son, Jason Mobley of Quanah; 1 brother, Tommy Morris of Vian, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Peggy Colbert of Quanah, and Mary Roberson of Vian, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny, in 2014; and by her brother, Emmitt Morris, in 1997.
