Integritous, honorable, generous man of 91 . . .

Billie Gene Naron, U.S. Army Veteran of the 123 ^rd Infantry and 33 ^rd Division, rank Corporal, serial number 38646505.  Bill was not only a dedicated soldier of the U.S. army, but was also a dedicated, lifetime farmer, rancher, "father figure", and mentor, to so many within his lifetime.

He departed from this earthly home on January 17 ^th , 2018, leaving behind so many whom dearly loved, and appreciated him immensely.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Wilma Naron, also, Wilma's daughter, Sandra West; and grandchild, Devin Arter.

Survivors are 2 natural children, Kathryn Gilbreath of Lubbock, and Teresa Naron of Rule, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Nethaniel Arter, Dena Winkcompleck-Roberts, and Katilyn Winkcompleck; 3 great grandchildren, Gentrii Roberts, Bindaren Roberts, and Alice Crone.

Billie Gene is also survived by Wilma's children: Mae Magouyrk, Debra Gibbs, Delores Honea, Sonny West, Diann Litsch, and Wayne Davis; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:15 a.m., Monday, January 29 ^th , 2018, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.  James Naron and Gene Gibbs will officiate.
