Bobbie Riley Mulford, 87, of Quanah passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Bobbie was born in Quanah, Texas on April 11, 1936. Her parents were Maurice and Robert E. Riley. She married Eugene (Gene) Mulford on March 3, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

If there ever was an angel on earth, Bobbie was one. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother. She cooked three meals from scratch everyday. Bobbie sewed by hand her daughter's clothing and tended to her garden where she grew countless flowers and vegetables.

Bobbie was very active in the First United Methodist Church. She was always available to prepare meals for funerals. Bobbie also served as President of the Women's Circle for three years.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Rubin (Al) of Dallas, and Sandra Mulford of Quanah, brother Jerry Riley (Bea) of Quanah, two grand-daughters, Jennifer Green (Joey) of Rowlette, Amber Jones (Chris) of Mesquite, great grandchildren, Anthony, Robbie, Colton, Reagan, and Charlotte, great-great grandchildren Mattie and Toby, cousin Gerald Riley (Ladonna), and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene (Gene) V. Mulford, son, Eugene V. Mulford, Jr., brother Richard (Ricky) Riley (Caren), and parents Robert E. and Maurice Riley.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Smith Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home Chapel on December 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association at https://act.alz.org .
