Bobby Walser passed away at his home in Chillicothe Friday afternoon, August 8th, 2025. He was 99. There will be a visitation with family held from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Bobby Joe Walser was born January 17, 1926 in Quanah Texas. He was a Captain in the Army and a veteran of 3 wars; World War II, Vietnam and Korea. Following his military service, he became a commercial pilot. Bobby married Katherine D. Rose on October 10, 1954. Katherine preceded Bobby in 2004.

Survivors include 2 great nephews, Ricky Pavuk of Chillicothe and Patrick Pavuk of Centerville, Georgia; a great niece, Katherine Wallace of Cleburn, Texas; and a niece, Deborah Williams of Pottsville, Texas. In addition to his wife, Bobby was also preceded in death by a nephew, Ronald Pavuk, and a sister, Dorothy Pavuk.
