Bonnie June Davis died Tuesday evening, July 17, 2018, in Childress, Texas. She was 83.

Bonnie was born July 31, 1934 in Montague, Texas, to Ben G. and Alpha Elizbeth (Tompkins) Calhoun. She was married to James Patrick Davis on December 15, 1978, in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Bonnie moved to Quanah in 1978, and remained a member of the First Baptist Church in Moro, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband, James, of Quanah; 5 sons: Gordon E. Fisher of Highland Home, Alabama; Michael S. Fisher of Concord, North Carolina; Dennis W. Fisher of Clover, South Carolina; Rocky Davis of Lewiston, Idaho; and Stanley Davis of Quanah; 1 daughter, Vickie Davis of Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nettie Young and Mary Calhoun of Iowa Park, Texas.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her stepson, Mark Davis.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2018, at Quanah Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. David Smith will officiate.  Interment will follow under direction of Smith Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19th, at the funeral home.
