Carolyn Ann Shrum, age 72, of Quanah, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 26, 2017.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 1 ^st , 2017 at 2:00 p.m., graveside, at Quanah Memorial Park under direction of Smith Funeral Home, Quanah, Texas.  Rev. Larry Holder will officiate.

Carolyn was born on March 31, 1944, in Quanah, to Charlie Martin and Lucille Mullins Martin. She married Donald Shrum on March 29, 1963, in Quanah, and was a housewife.   She was a lifetime resident of Quanah, and a graduate of Quanah High School in 1962.  Carolyn was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Shrum, of the home; 2 sons – Charles, and wife, Julie Shrum of Wichita Falls, Texas; Craig Shrum of Wichita Falls, Texas; 2 grandchildren – Christina and Katie; 2 nieces; and her dog, Max.
