Claudia Fay Daniels, beloved member of the Quanah and Chillicothe communities, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, November 23, 2024, in Crowell at the age of 83.

A funeral service to honor Claudia's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26th, at the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, with interment to follow at Chillicothe Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday evening, November 25th, from 6-7 p.m., at Smith Chapel in Chillicothe.

Born on December 9, 1940, in Quanah, Claudia was the cherished daughter of Harvey and Mary Anderson Redick. She spent her entire life in the area, dedicating herself to caring for others. Claudia retired from Northwest Texas State Hospital but continued her service as a part-time LVN at Chillicothe Hospital, leaving a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues.

Claudia's warm and giving nature was evident in every aspect of her life. She was known for her hospitality, her love of gardening, sewing, and refinishing furniture, and her unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Survivors are her children, Jennifer Reinhardt and Shawn of Quanah, Melanie Longmiles and Will of Fort Worth, Eddie Briggs and Darlene of Vernon; a sister, Carolyn Hollingsworth of Vernon; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
