Danny Kevin Felty, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at First Methodist Church in Quanah, Texas, with interment to follow at Quanah Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will take place on Monday evening, December 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.

Kevin was born on October 5, 1962, in Chillicothe, Texas, to Danny Felty and Linda Green Felty. He earned a Master's Degree in Business from Baker University and enjoyed a successful career in telecommunications. Beyond his professional life, Kevin had a deep passion for racehorses, owning and caring for them with pride and enthusiasm. His involvement with the sport brought him great joy and countless cherished memories.

He is survived by his sons, Jacob Felty and his wife Heather of Marysville, Kansas, and Kason Felty of Tribune, Kansas; three beloved grandchildren, Charlee, Sadie, and Archer; his siblings, Kyle Felty and his wife Mechelle of Rhome, Texas, and Mindy Felty of Fort Worth, Texas; and his significant other, Stephanie Carlson of Quanah, Texas. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Linda Felty.

Kevin will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous spirit, and his unwavering passion for racehorses. His kind heart and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
