Dena Leslie Hamm died Sunday, November 26, 2017, in Quanah, Texas. She was 48.

Dena was born on September 4, 1969, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the daughter of John Ford and Marijohn Moore Haynes, and was reared by the father she loved, Don T. Haynes.  Dena spent most of her life in Quanah, and worked as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed crafting, painting, and cooking, and was a member of the Pease River Cowboy Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Jackie Martin, of Quanah; two sons, Justin Hamm of Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, and Jared Hamm of Dallas; sisters Cari Arcuri of Flower Mound, Texas, and Donna Bloom of Little Elm, Texas; a brother, Mark Hall; and her aunt, Kay Ford.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017, at Pease River Cowboy Church in Goodlett, with Rev. Josh Crow officiating. There will be a visitation Thursday, November 30 th , from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
