Donald Shrum, 81, passed away Friday morning, April 21, 2023 in Wichita Falls. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 24 ^th at Quanah Memorial Park.

Donald Calvin Shrum was born January 22, 1942 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Eddie C. and Flossie Scroggins Shrum. He married Carolyn Ann Martin on March 29, 1963 in Quanah and together they raised two sons. Donald retired from Georgia Pacific where he worked as a millright.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Shrum, and wife Julie of Wichita Falls and Craig Shrum, and fiancée Joselynn of Wichita Falls; two grandchildren, Christiana, and husband Terry Dietrich of Wichita Falls, and Katie, and husband Matthew Hammer of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one sister, Joyce Edmonds of Quanah; and girlfriend, Mamie Brucker of Devol, Oklahoma; He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, February 26, 2017.
