Donna Willard, 78, passed away at her home in Hewitt, Texas, on Monday morning, September 2nd, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7th at Quanah Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

Donna Sharon Hopper was born March 28, 1946 to Herman Charles and Lois (Conway) Hopper in Quanah, Texas. She married Jimmy Ray Willard in Quanah on December 4, 1964.

Donna was a skilled woodworker who enjoyed building; and was also a "42 guru". She jogged daily and enjoyed visiting Red River, NM. She especially loved the holidays when all the family would come together.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Ray Willard of Waco; children, Darren Willard of Mission, Kansas, and Eric Willard and Ashley of Rockdale, Texas; grandchildren, Mason Willard of Waxahachie, and Brody Willard of Rockdale, Texas; a brother, Michael Hopper, and sister, Sherry Thomas of Midlothian.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Merwyn Hopper.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
