Dot Green passed away Monday afternoon, May 20, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Dortha Joann Morton was born February 12, 1962 to Don Morton and Laverne Templeton Morton. She was married to Billy Green on June 7, 1977 in Quanah, where they made their home and raised their two daughters. Dot was a homemaker and worked at First Baptist Church. Her family meant everything to her and she loved spending time with them. One of her other pleasures was collecting Elvis Presley music and memorabilia and visiting Graceland.

Dot is survived by her husband, Billy Green of Quanah; 2 daughters, Heather Silvey and Mike of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Jessica Langford and Randy of Quanah; 2 brothers, Steve Morton of Medicine Mound, and Dee Morton of Quanah; 2 sisters, Cheryl Rogers of Quanah, and Susan Butler of Childress; 7 grandchildren, Makila, Micah, Kendra, Breana, Preslea, Kaleigh, and Hutta; 6 great grandchildren, Bradley, Jordyn, Everleigh, Beckham, Bailey, and Saylor. She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Izzy and Baby Johnson.
