Eddie Mae Chandler, 80, passed away Wednesday evening, July 27, 2022, in Vernon.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6 ^th at the Quanah Church of Christ. Mr. Albert Motsenbocker will officiate, and interment will follow at Quanah Memorial Park. Family visitation will be held Friday evening, 7-8 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Eddie Mae Carter was born February 16, 1942, to Sam and India (Jackson) Carter in Quanah. She was a graduate of Quanah High School and a member of the Church of Christ.

Aunt Eddie leaves to cherish one sister, Mrs. Loretta McGregor; one step-brother Roy Bragner, and wife Cynthia; 4 generations of nieces and nephews, and she enjoyed them all.

She will be greatly missed.
