Obituary

Elida Ceniceros died Saturday, June 2, 2018, in Altus, Oklahoma. She was 55.

Elida was born on July 25, 1962, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Hipolito, Sr. and Frances (Valdez) Ceniceros. She was a lifelong Quanah resident.  Elida was retired from the Cap Factory and Tysons Foods.

She is survived by her companion, David Finley of Quanah; a daughter, Angel Ceniceros of Quanah; a son, Chris Ditmore of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren, Hunter and Haven Coley of Quanah; Brooklin Golden of Eldorado; Creed Ditmore of Keota, Oklahoma; siblings, Connie Jalomo of Quanah; Rebecca Schenk of Ottowa, Ontario; Carmen Butler of Buffalo, New York,; Irene Ceniceros of Wichita Falls; Lupio and Frank Ceniceros of Altus, Oklahoma; and Larry Ceniceros of Mangum, Oklahoma.

Elida was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Hipolito Jr., Arthur, and Benny Ceniceros.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Quanah Memorial Park. Rev. Josh Crow will officiate.  Interment will follow under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
