Ester Lee Love passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in Vernon, Texas. She was 95.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Quanah. Interment will follow at Quanah Memorial Park, under direction of Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Smith Funeral Home.

Ester was born January 18, 1923, in Pittsburg, Texas, to John and Lizzie Birdine. She married Charlie Ray Love, who preceded her in death in 1981.

Ester is survived by 3 sons: Charlie Love, Jr., and wife, Betty, of Amarillo, Leonard Love of Dallas, Michael Jackson, and wife, Idella, of Amarillo; 1 daughter: Charmaine Love Gonzales of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; a special niece, Ruby Faye Dickens; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Ray; her parents: John and Lizzie; and 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.
