Fay Hope, 83, of Quanah, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Granbury. A graveside service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 15 th , at Quanah Memorial Park. Rev. Matthew Stidham and Rev. Jason Stidham will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 14 th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
Eula Fay Cabler was born April 24, 1937 in to Lee Andrew Cabler -and Ethel May Belle Crumpler. She married Richard C. Hope on June 6, 1952 in Clarksville, Texas. Together, they raised 6 children. Fay worked as a Medication Aide for over 40 years at Quanah Nursing Home. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Judy Bishop of El Paso, Texas, Cristy Hope of Quanah, Jana Schulz of Quanah, Holly Hall of Quanah; 2 sons, Richard Hope of Quanah, and Jerry Don Hope of Birmingham, Alabama; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Vernon Doyle Hope of Lubbock, Texas.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Quanah Food Bank or the American Cancer Society.
