Frances Lorraine Taylor passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Evergreen East Cemetery in El Paso, Texas, with interment to follow.

Frances was born on May 20, 1930, to Louis Anselman and Bernice Pryor Anselman in Helena, Arkansas. In 1949, she married Jim Tom "Sonny" Taylor, and together they raised four children. Frances was known for her love of golf, dancing, and gambling, as well as her dedication to her community. She was an active member of the PTA, the Ladies Golf Association, and Horizon Country Club. Above all, Frances was a wonderful mother and a cherished friend to many.

She is survived by her children, Debra Lynn Conley and husband Jim of Quanah, Leslie Kay Rios of El Paso, and Betty Lorraine Ramirez and husband Ben of Marathon; her grandchildren, Jim Jason Taylor, Jack Karl Taylor, Chad Taylor Conley, Johnny Clay Conley, LeAndra Dawn Ramirez, Callie Lynn Rios, Lance Ramirez, and Joe Karl Rios; great grandchildren, Jeremy Ramirez, Zoey Aguilar, Ella Belle Conley, Jim Braden Taylor, Vida Kay Rios, Joe Rios; and numerous other loved ones.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Tom Taylor, in 2007; her son, Jim Karl Taylor, in 2009; her sister, Betty Camarado; her brother, Louis "Buddy" Anselman; and her son-in-law, Joe Rios.

She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.
