Freddie Harmon passed away Wednesday morning, April 27, 2017, in Crowell, Texas.  He was 87.

He was born to Floyd and Della Harmon on December 26, 1929 in Oklahoma.  He and Opal Marsh were married on January 4, 1947.  She preceded him in 1975.

Freddie left school early, and went to work at Acme, where he retired after 50 years in the maintenance department.  He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include 2 sisters - Sue Carter and Della Mae Hill; 2 daughters - Rose (Spencer) Risinger and Lesa Merrier; 1 son - Dannie Harmon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded by a son, Eddie Harmon, in 2006.

Per his wishes, Freddie was cremated, and a private memorial service, with family members, has been planned.
