Geraldine Barnett Bell, 90 of Chillicothe, Texas died on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Crowell, Teas.

Services will be Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:0 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Texas with Rev. Wallace Clay officiating.  Interment will follow at Chillicothe Cemetery under direction of Smith Chapel.

Geraldine was born December 14, 1928 in Chillicothe to the late R.T. Barnett and the late Augustus Bogard Barnett.  She married A.L. Bell. Jr. on December 9, 1948 in Chillicothe.  A.L. preceded her in death December 5, 2005.  She had been a resident of Hardeman County all of her life.  She retired from the Vernon Manufacturing Company and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, where she taught Sunday School.

Geraldine is survived by her son, Lane Bell, and wife, Betty of Chillicothe; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Larry Bell in 1980; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Chapel in Chillicothe.
