Herman Jaso, 82, of Quanah, Texas, passed away on December 17, 2024. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Quanah Memorial Park.

Herman was born on November 7, 1942, in Coleman, Texas, to Guadalupe and Jacinta Jaso. He moved to Quanah in 1960, and retired from Georgia Pacific in 2013, following a dedicated 39 ½ years of service.

Herman is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Nancy Jaso of Quanah; his children, Jeremy Jaso and Sherry of Vernon, and Kandy Carnes and David of Adrian, Texas. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Dustin Lill, Taylor Davis, Nevaeh Carnes, and Cole Ragland; great grandchildren, Aspen Lill, Stetson Orr, Riley Davis, and Adalyn Lill as well as numerous nieces and nephews who filled his heart with joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rosie, and brothers, Albert and Lee.

Nancy, Jeremy, Sherry, and Kandy would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Angel Care Hospice and its compassionate staff for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Herman and the family during this season.

Special thanks are extended to Sandy, DiAngelo, Nicolas, Joe Jr., and Jose for their unwavering support and for becoming like family, always there to lend a hand, day or night. Your presence made this journey bearable.

The family also wishes to thank Stanley, Amy, and Trevor Butts, who were always there when needed, and for their prayers, generosity, and assistance with meals during this difficult time.

Additionally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Michael Woods for his kindness, assistance, and attentiveness to our needs during this time. Your loyalty and dedication will never be forgotten.

Herman's love and dedication to family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
