Jason O'Neal, 34, of Quanah, passed away early Sunday morning, December 6, 2020. A graveside services is planned for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 10th at Quanah Memorial Park. Mr. Steve McSpadden will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, December 9th, from 7-8 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Jason Lane O'Neal was born in Childress, Texas on July 9, 1986, to Alvin "Cotton" O'Neal and Kimberly Jackson O'Neal. He was their middle son. Jason graduated from Quanah High School in 2005.  He was employed at United Supermarket, where he was always a kind and friendly face. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Kim O'Neal of Quanah; brothers, Justin O'Neal and wife Stephanie, and Jace O'Neal and wife Cayten, of Quanah; nieces, Skyler and Channing, and soon to come, Callie O'Neal ; nephew, Sawyer O'Neal; and grandparents, E.J. and JoAnn Pechacek.  He was preceded in death by his father, Cotton O'Neal; and his paternal grandparents, Essie and Junior O'Neal.

The family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church in Quanah.
