Jeremy Wayne
Jaso
Aug 12, 1970 — Jul 1, 2025
Vernon
Jeremy Wayne Jaso passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Vernon, Texas. He was born on August 12, 1970, in Quanah, Texas, to Nancy and Herman Jaso.
Jeremy will be remembered by all who knew and loved him for his contagious smile, his loving and caring heart, and his gift for connecting with others. Known for his "silver tongue," Jeremy had a way with words and never met a stranger. He loved people from all walks of life and carried no judgment—only kindness.
Jeremy adored his wife, Sherry Bodine, and deeply cherished their relationship and the many journeys they shared together. He loved riding his motorcycle, taking photos, and enjoying the simple moments—especially waiting on the porch to see his beloved grandbabies off to school and welcoming them home each day.
Growing up, Jeremy spent countless hours riding along the river and traveling to races with his mother, Nancy. Among his greatest personal achievements was his journey to sobriety, of which he was incredibly proud.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy Jaso; his wife, Sherry Bodine; stepdaughter, Alyssa Rodriguez and husband Phillip; grandchildren; sister, Kandy Carnes and husband David; nieces, Taylor Davis and Nevaeh; nephew, Dustin Lill; and a host of cherished family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Jaso.
Per Jeremy's request, there will be no service.
Jeremy's life was marked by love, resilience, and a generous spirit that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
