Jo Ann Hale, 87 of Quanah, Texas died on Monday, January 6, 2020, in Quanah, Texas.

Graveside service will be Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 11:00 am at Quanah, TX. under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. David Smith.

Jo Ann was born Tuesday, October 4, 1932 in Pirtle, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of the late Jesse Link and the late Velmarie Deel Link. She married Charles Ray Hale on December 8, 1951 in Quanah, TX. He preceded her in death June 7, 2012. She moved to Quanah as a teenager. She loved gardening and crocheting, she was also a great cook and baker. She was a member of Church of Christ. She was a homemaker.

Jo Ann is survived by her granddaughters Kelsey Hale Sears of Sachse, TX. Megan Williams of Addison, TX. Her grandson Cody Williams. Daughter-in-law Robbie Hale of Quanah, TX. Her brother Don Link of Harrah, OK., two sisters Mona Link of Fort Worth, TX., and Brenda Kirkpatrick of Waxahachie, TX.

She is preceded in death by a daughter Mary Jo Williams, and a son Mike Hale.
