Joe Gonzales, known by many as "Wolfman", passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 19, 2021. He was 49. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 25 ^th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Shawn Reinhardt, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Quanah Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, October 24 ^th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Joe Munoz Gonzales, Jr. was born July 4, 1972 in Quanah, to Joe Munoz Gonzales, Sr. and Mary Alice Garza. Joe had worked in the oil field, oil mill, and farming in Hardeman County.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Gonzales of Vernon; 2 sons, Joel and Jonathon Gonzales of Vernon; a daughter, Jessica Gonzales of Vernon; 1 brother, Joe Manuel Gonzales of Quanah; and 2 sisters, Frances Gonzales and Rosita Mobley, both of Quanah.
