Juanita Reeves, 86, of Quanah, passed away Tuesday evening, November 12, 2019.

A funeral service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14 ^th at First United Methodist Church in Quanah.  Rev. Wayne Hollinshead, Rev. Monte Lumpkin, and Rev. Stephen White will officiate.  Interment will follow at Goodlett Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 13 ^th , at Smith Funeral Home.

Leah Juanita O'Daniel was born January 29, 1933 in Tell, Texas to Henry A. and Doshia (Bramlett) O'Daniel. She married Billy Pete Reeves on February 26, 1950 in Carey, Texas.  Juanita was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in Hardeman County. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son Duane, and wife, Shelia Reeves of Quanah; 2 granddaughters, Kati Thomas and Heath Smith of Quanah, and Jennifer and Jeff Lopez of Quanah; 5 great grandsons, Bradin and Brennan Thomas, Landry Lopez, and Creed and Tyler Smith; 1 great granddaughter, Lyric Lopez; and one sister, Ellen Burns and husband, George, of Hobbs, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Pete Reeves, on August 21, 2003.
