Kathryn Gertrude Cobb Biddy, died Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25th, 2017, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah, Texas.  Rev. David Smith, of First Baptist Church in Quanah, will officiate.  Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24th.

Ms. Biddy was born on February 11, 1929, to Weldon James Cobb and Gertrude Austin Cobb.  She married Gaylon Biddy on August 3, 1946, in Paducah, Texas.  Gaylon preceded her on November 14, 2008.  Kathryn was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse, and a graduate of Crowell Nursing School, where she was the Valedictorian in 1970.  She was a graduate of Paducah High School, and after moving to Quanah in 1968, became a member of the First Baptist Church.

Kathryn is survived by two daughters - Joan Biddy of Altus, Oklahoma; and Glynda and Barry Denham of Quanah, Texas;  three sons - Benny Gayle Biddy of Chillicothe, Texas; Ronnie Dale Biddy of Quanah, Texas; and Bobby Weldon Biddy of Burkburnett, Texas; two sisters - B.Z. Jackson of Lubbock, Texas; and Emily Oney of Austin, Texas; 2 brothers - Freddy Cobb of Theriot, New Mexico, and Jimmy Cobb of Dixon, Tennessee; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great, grandchild.
