Lou Jaggers passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Quanah. A funeral service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 11 ^th at the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Matt Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at Quanah Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m., Sunday evening at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Kay Louwayne Branum was born February 13, 1935, to William and Willie Mae Chaney Branum, in Honey Grove, Texas. She married Charles Stanley Jaggers on January 28, 1955 and together they raised three children.  Lou had been a resident of Quanah since 1970 where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She also served on Retired Teachers Association and Region 9 Special Services.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Patricia Hayes, and husband Lee, of Spring Branch, Texas, and Janna White, and husband Bobby, of Quanah; 1 son, Chuck Jaggers, and wife Julie, of Richardson, Texas; 9 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, on December 31, 2005.
