Obituary

Larry Zayne Hines born January 26,1949 in Quanah, Texas to Homer and Billie Nell Whatley Hines. He attended school in Quanah and Clarendon College.

Larry worked at Georgia-Pacific gypsum plant as well as Red River Water Authority where he retired after 22 years.  He worked for Hardeman County Sheriff Department as a dispatcher and reserve deputy and retired from the Quanah Volunteer Fire Department.

He had a great love for hunting, fishing and anything to do with guns. He loved to teach his grandchildren how to shoot, hunt and fish.

He married Barbra Becknell in May 2, 1970 and they raised four children.

He is survived by Barbra of the home; Kari Lindsey and husband Phillip, Charmin McCune and husband Tim, Misty White and husband John, and Barry Hines and wife Tracy.  Eight Grandchildren, Tim Lindsey and wife Darcy, Tiffany Lindsey, Libby McCune, Will McCune, Ayden White and Brayden, Mason and Chris Hines along with four great grandchildren. Larry is also survived by two sisters Lea Ann Loveless and Martha Turner.
