Linda Felty passed away on the evening of Wednesday, April 6 ^th , 2022.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9 ^th at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Tommy Elder officiating. Interment will follow at Quanah Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m., Friday evening, at Smith Funeral Home.

Linda Joy Green was born September 12, 1940, in Chillicothe, Texas, to the late William and Maude Sanders Green. She married Danny Felty on December 1, 1961, and together they raised three children. She worked for many years as a checker at United Supermarket; was a member of the First United Methodist Church; and shopping was a favorite pastime.

Survivors include her daughter, Mindy Felty of Fort Worth; 2 sons, Kevin Felty of Quanah, and Kyle Felty of Rhome, Texas; 1 brother, Boyd Green of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Hannah, Kasen and Jake; and great grandchildren, Charlie, Sadie, and Archer on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Felty in November of 2013.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the Chillicothe Alumni Association.
