Linda Womble passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 20, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m.

Linda Jeanette Morris was born May 5, 1948 in Quanah to the late Herman Morris and Mildred Graham Morris. Linda married John Womble on August 2, 1985 in Quanah. She was a graduate of Quanah High School and attended Draughn's Business College. She worked for the Tribune Chief, Security Bank, and Georgia Pacific before opening and operating 287 Antiques. Linda was a member of First Assembly of God in Quanah. She was a hard worker and loved crafting and plants.

Survivors include her husband, John Womble of Quanah; son, John Womble, Jr. and wife Melissa of Quanah; grandson, John Womble, III and wife Rachel of Quanah; great grandchildren, Kaytlann and Mason Womble of Quanah; brothers, Richard Morris and wife Jan of Pampa, Melvin Morris and wife Theresa of Amarillo, Gary Morris and wife Anna of Pampa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family suggests memorials be made to the church of your choice or Quanah Meals on Wheels.
