Lois Horner, 86, of Chillicothe, died on Thursday, November 12, 2020, in Crowell, Texas.

A private family graveside will be held at Big Valley Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Lois was born November 12, 1934 in Omaha, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Emanuel Garrett and the late Ora Pearl Jackson Garrett. She married Callie H. Horner January 8, 1965 in Longview, TX. He preceded her in death December 4, 1986. She was a retired bookkeeper. She moved from Ft. Worth to Chillicothe in1990. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Chillicothe.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Linda Urban of Quanah; two sisters, Ruby Grigsby and Opal May; eight grandchildren, Edward L. Urban, Jr., Harold E. Urban, Willie E. Glidden, Caroline R. Glidden, Megan E. Glidden, Jessica Branham, Christopher Branham, and Wesley Graham; and numerous great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; her son, Dr. Weldon Glidden; two sisters, Ermadene Derrick and Nadine Schara; and a brother, Monique (Buddy) Garrett.
