Louann Ross passed away Tuesday morning, October 31, 2023 in Quanah. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Terry Allen will officiate.

Louann Edmondson was born July 29, 1943 in Quanah, to Ancel and Lou Ella (Hines) Edmondson. She married Richard Ross in 1962, and later, they became parents to twins, Christopher and Robyn. Louann retired from First Capital Bank, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Ross of Quanah; son, Christopher Ross and wife Leslie, of Allen; daughter, Robyn Minjarez, and husband Ray, of Cedar Park; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Minjarez of San Antonio, Joshua Minjarez of Austin, Jonathan Minjarez of San Marcus, Zachery Ross of Allen, Rachel Ross of College Station, and Lauren Ross of Stephenville; 3 sisters, Jan Crumbliss, Jill Gill, and Penny Coles, all of Brunswick, Georgia.
