Mae Frances was born on March 20, 1937, in Quanah, Texas as the fifth child of the late Jerry and Buler Moore. Mae Frances was raised in Quanah and accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at an early age.  She was a longtime member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and served as the financial secretary for many years.   She was also an active member in the choir until her health declined.

Mae Frances was a product of the Frederick Douglass School System and a graduate of the class of 1954.  She was a proud member of the Douglass School reunion.

Mae Frances married Robert Wesley and to that union three children were born, Patricia, Mae Helen, and Robert Jr.  Later in life she met and married Aaron Carr.  Mae Frances had a huge heart and love of family.  She adopted her niece Renee into the family, and she became her fourth child.

Most of Mae Frances' work was in health care.  She worked at the Quanah Nursing Home, as a private home health care aide, and at the Woods Living Center.  At her retirement from Woods Living Center, she was given an award for having the longest service to the Woods Centers company to-date.

Mae Frances was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Carr, daughter Mae Helen Wesley Petty, her parents Jerry and Buler Moore, her 11 siblings – Jerrine Moore, J.B. Moore, Pearline Houston, Malvin Moore, Joe Allen Moore, Emma Jean Wiliams, Calvin Moore, Helen Moore, Archie Moore, Elbert Moore, Albert Moore, and stepdaughter Mona Hendrix.

Mae Frances leaves to cherish her memory, children – Patricia Mitchell (Larry), Robert Wesley (Jean), Renee Moore, stepdaughters – Linda Carr, Geneva Carr and Teresa Johnson.

Grandchildren – LaToya Gipson (Johnny), Antwoin Petty, Nic Wesley (Jerika), Jimittrius Moore, Tracie Collins (Ahmand), MarJon Moore, step grandchildren – Patty Desha, Marlene Hardeman, Andrea Poole, and Marcus Carr.

Great grandchildren – Mason and Caleb Petty, Jonathan and Olivia Gipson, Keiarah McKinnon, Cerenity Collins, Nic Wesley, Jr., Zamir Wesley, Zaiden Wesley, Kynela Powell, Jaden Nickerson and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
