Mark Harris, 76, of Quanah, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 20, 2020.  A graveside service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 25 ^th at the Crowell Cemetery. Dr. David Smith will officiate.

Mark Hines Harris was born February 18, 1944 in Crowell, Texas to Jabus Edgar Harris and Dorothy Pearl Love Harris.  Mark served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He received many awards and commendations during his service and retired in 1989 as a Staff Master Sergeant. He served the city of Crowell as Municipal Judge, and after moving to Quanah, he continued to have an interest in local politics. Mark was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crowell.

Mark is survived by his brother, Jewel Harris, of Garland, Texas.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents; a brother, Dewey Harris; and a sister, Linda Harris Shelton.
