Mark Holocker, 63, passed away Monday, September 2nd, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7th, at the First Christian Church with interment to follow at Goodlett Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, evening, September 6th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Mark Shane Holocker was born November 8, 1960 to William Harvey Holocker and Juanita Faye (Davis) Holocker in Wichita County, Texas.

Mark was a big sports fan. Especially the Dallas Cowboys and Quanah High School. However, he also enjoyed watching Texas Tech, Miami Dolphins, and Oklahoma State University.

Mark loved people and enjoyed singing. These characteristics are among the many that made him perfect for his role as Deacon at First Christian Church.

He was a past employee of North Texas State Hospital, Quanah ISD, Hardeman County Hospital, and Top of Texas Maintenance, but his favorite job was as custodian at Quanah ISD.

Survivors include his siblings, Gail Bridges and Barry of Quanah, Kathy Wilhite and Terry of Hawley, Billie Rine and James of Quanah, John Holocker of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
