Minnie Perez, of Quanah, passed away on Monday, April 12 ^th in Oklahoma City.  A funeral service is planned for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday evening.

Minnie Molina was born October 28, 1944 in Lamesa Texas to Tony and Mary Molina. She married Joe F. Perez on September 5, 1959 in Amhurst, Texas. She was a homemaker and raised 8 children. Minnie was a member of the Catholic Church and attended St. Mary's.

Survivors include 5 sons, Leonard Perez of Plainview, David Perez of New Braunfels, John Perez of Quanah, Patrick Perez of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Robert Perez of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Ida Minty of Schertz, Texas and Veronica Clayton of Plainview, Texas; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Perez in June of 2020; and her husband, Joe F. Perez in March of 2020.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
