Born to William Clarence Eaton and Nelly Ruth Blyth in Post Texas. Muriel was a lifelong resident of Quanah. She was a homemaker and was employed by Sears Catalog store.  She and Harold Ball were married in Quanah in 1947. He preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by 2 sons Steve & daughter in law Vicki Ball of Lubbock and Robert Ball of Quanah.  She has 3 grandchildren: Corey Ball of Argyle, Kellie Ball Thomasson of Lubbock, and Brandon Ball of Scottsbluff Nebraska. She has 3 great grandchildren: Brady and Emma Ball of Argyle and June Thomasson of Lubbock. 2 sisters, Charlotte Blair of Abilene and Sharon Brandon of Abilene and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother Bill Eaton.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 16th at Quanah Memorial Park. Burial will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Quanah.
