Patrick Mitchell, 36, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021. A funeral service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21 ^st at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Quanah. Dr. David Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Quanah Memorial Park. Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

Patrick Cole Mitchell was born July 14, 1985 in Canyon, Texas to Billy Dee Burns and Claudia "Sissy" Jackson. He was employed as a cook at Texas Roadhouse. He had attended Picayune Community College and Mississippi State University.

Survivors include his son, Noah Mitchell of Picayune, MS; 3 brothers, Thomas Mitchell and wife Marcy of Picayune, MS, Michael Burns of Pampa, Texas, and Steven Mitchell of Chillicothe; 4 sisters, Gala Cash and husband Charles of Iowa Park, Texas, Jerrie Hinds and husband Carl of Pampa, Texas, Michelle Browder and husband Thomas of Quanah, and Crystal Landman and husband Matthew of Beaver Falls, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Burns.
