Randy L. Hinsley passed away Tuesday evening, April 28, 2026, at his home in Goodlett. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 1st at Goodlett Cemetery.

Randy was born July 29, 1973, in Quanah, Texas, to Elmer Lee Hinsley and Rita Charlene (Elder) Hinsley.

Randy is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Sara Hinsley of Goodlett, Texas. Together they built a life and home filled with love, hard work, and cherished memories. Their home, which they lovingly created with their own hands, stood as a place of comfort, strength, and peace—a true safe haven for their family.

Survivors include his brother, Ricky Hinsley and wife Marlene of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona. Randy also leaves behind his children: Traci Lubuke and husband Jake of New Mexico, along with their children Kassie, Kallie, and “Little Jake”; Tara Hinsley of Alabama; Caylon Hinsley of Childress, Texas, and his grandson, Hyland; Madison Hinsley of Wichita Falls, Texas; Makayla Hinsley and Tim of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Makenzie Hinsley and Robert Hinsley, both of Quanah, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Rita Hinsley.

Randy was a man who valued family above all else. He and Sara found joy in a quiet life, preferring time spent together and with those they loved over anything else. They were never ones to seek the spotlight, as their happiness was found in the simple, meaningful moments shared at home.

He shared a special and meaningful bond with his father-in-law, who became a second father to him. They looked out for each other, worked side by side, and helped one another through life’s challenges. Randy appreciated how much he learned from him, and that relationship was one he deeply valued and respected.

Randy was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in providing for his family. The home he built stands as a lasting testament to the love, dedication, and sacrifice he poured into his life.

To those closest to him, Randy was more than a husband, father, and grandfather—he was a steady presence, a teacher, and a protector. He shared a special bond with his family, always willing to lend a hand, offer guidance, or simply stand beside those he loved.

He will be remembered for his deep love, loyalty, and the passion he had for the people who stood by him and took care of him at the end.
