Rita Woodside, 72, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. A graveside service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 9th at Goodlett Cemetery.

Rita Frances Poole was born June 26, 1948 to Everett Harry Poole and Jessie Frances Scott Poole in Quanah, Texas. She was a graduate of Quanah High School, but had lived in Grand Prairie, Texas for many years. She owned a dress shop for 44 years before retiring in 2003. Rita was a Baptist.

Survivors include her brother, Harry Poole of Quanah; a sister, Lanette Kay Burton of Lubbock; nieces and nephews, Shelly Hutchison, Jason Poole, and Jeremy Poole; great nieces and nephews, Jack, Millie, Lauren, and Tatum. Rita was preceded in death by 1 brother.
