Roy Arnett Claudrick, Sr., was born in Quanah, Texas on March 15, 1956 and was the youngest of six children. Roy served in the Army National Guard and traveled parts of the US as a young man before settling in Quanah, Texas and starting a family.
Roy enjoyed the company of family and friends at all times. Laughing, talking, listening to good music, and great food was his recipe for a good time. Roy has left his handprint on the hearts of many. He lives on, through us.
Roy was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Elois Spence; sisters, Claudia Mae Jackson and Gloria Jean Lewis; and his brother, Ira Claudrick.
Roy is survived by his brother, Charles Claudrick and his sister, Mary Thrower, his children, Courtney Haltom, Brian Claudrick and wife Shauna, Rosalyn Liggins, Roy Claudrick, Jr., and fiancé Liz Gonzalez, Jerod Claudrick and wife Randi, and Byron Claudrick and wife Erica; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and his one special love, Marsha Faye Collins.
