Russell McLean, former Quanah resident, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at The Woodlands, Texas. A funeral service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20th at First Baptist Church in Quanah with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in Quanah Memorial Park.

Russell James McLean was born May 18, 1961, in Quanah, to James and Annette Streit McLean. He attended school in Quanah and later at East Texas State University. He married Tiana Crider March 31, 1990 in Garland, Texas. Russell worked as a copy machine service technician and was a volunteer firefighter on the Klein Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Tiana McLean of Tomball, Texas; a son, Andrew "AJ" McLean and fiancé, Makayla of Conroe, Texas; a daughter, Shelby McLean and partner, Kyler, of Conroe, Texas; and a sister, Beth Cook and husband, Lee, of Vernon, Texas.

The family suggests memorials be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
