Shirley Gray Galloway passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A memorial service has been planned for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Quanah.

Shirley Gray was born March 22, 1959 in Stamford, Texas to George Gray and Geraldine Brown Gray. She was a long-time resident of Quanah. Shirley carried on the family tradition of working in the medical field. She started out her nursing career at Stamford Memorial Hospital in the early 1980s. She continued in the medical field by working in the business office at Hardeman County Memorial Hospital for 31 years. Shirley loved her dog, Bruiser; and enjoyed crocheting and word search puzzles.

Survivors include a son, Cody Minshew of Bangs, Texas; two sisters, Patti Daniel and Tracy of Stamford and Georgia Jackson and Mark of Quanah; nephews, Joshua Jackson and Elaine of Quanah, Payton Jackson and Amber of Quanah, William Walton of Watauga, and Christopher Daniel of Stamford; niece, Jennifer Englert of Stamford; great nephews, Colby, Xander, and Legend Jackson; great nieces, Abigail and Annie Jackson, Tennie Daniel, Skyler Daniel, and Alyda N'Kole Walton; and best friend/sister-in-love, Bonnie Wisdom of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Colter Wayne Minshew.
