Spencer Earl Risinger, 81, of Quanah, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 10, 2025. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Spencer was born on April 2, 1944, in Quanah, Texas, to John Dennis Risinger and Virginia Margaret Rose Risinger. He married the love of his life, Rose Harmon, on July 2, 1974, in Jackson County.

He earned a degree in accounting from the American College of Business and was a devoted member of the Baptist faith. Spencer was known for his deep love for his family, his enjoyment of the outdoors, and his fondness for hosting barbecues.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Risinger of Quanah; daughters, Terri Spangler and husband Bobby of Quanah, and Judy Hunt and husband Matthew of Quanah; grandchildren, Jordon Morris and Corina, Nathan Morris and Megan, Destiny Owen and Carsey, Brittany Spangler and Endrit Gashi, RJ Spangler, Devan Rodriguez, Damian Rodriguez, Donovan Rodriguez and Makenna, Sawyer Risinger, and Lawson Risinger; as well as several great-grandchildren.

Spencer was preceded in death by his son, Spencer Earl Risinger, Jr.; daughter, Beverly Ann Rodriguez; brother, Dennis Risinger; and sister, Janette Risinger Jones.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
