In loving memory, we announce Staycy Lynn Young, 61, passed away peacefully at her home in Quanah, surrounded by her loving family, on October 17, 2026.

Born on September 30, 1965 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Staycy was devoted to the care, love, compassion, and protection of her family unconditionally. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and colleagues who witnessed her unmatched heart, pure determination, and unbreakable will to fight back no matter what.

Staycy is survived by her parents Howard Gabbard and Gloria Ray; husband of 36 years, Mark Young; daughter, Alexya Gabbard, grandson, Rich Lozano, Jr.; siblings, Joe Gabbard and Kelly Schulte; as well as numerous other family and friends unmentioned regretfully.

A private memorial and gathering will be held to celebrate Staycy’s beautiful life.

Special appreciation to Hospice of Wichita Falls for their guidance and support when they were needed the most.
